So my new lead guy is Phillip Anderson. He fought for the Confederacy in A.P. Hill's famous Light Division. He was captured at the Battle of Antietam (Sharpsburg) and shipped to Camp Douglas.
While researching the Light Division and different prisons, all that is running through my mind is The Charge of the Light Brigade.
Forward, the Light Brigade!...
Was there a man dismay'd?
Not tho' the soldier knew
Someone had blunder'd:
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die:
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred
Now back to Lee's surrender at Appomattox.
