New Release

Maverick and Finley's story is releasing tomorrow! Have you preordered?

"Joy, I'm not in your book club for a reason," she said as she recorded the first pitch.
She noted the time of the game start as well. There was a need to know if the game was really shorter or not with the pitch clock.
"Because you don't leave the house, but that's beside the point," Joy said. "You do realize that Maverick's like a billionaire, right? You could live out your romantic dreams. Billionaire baseball player sweeps the hermit off her front porch and into his SUV, sounds utterly romantic."
"He's not a billionaire," she said as she recorded the balls and strikes in the count.
This wasn't the first time she'd focused on a game while talking to Joy. Most of the time, the woman knew she was watching a game but didn't care.
"I'm pretty sure he's making millions of dollars to play the game," Joy said.
"Still not billions," she said as she watched the batter walk back to the dugout.
"You might want to lower your standards. Millions are still better than most men in the area. His face gives him the pass for not making billions," Joy said. "And David likes him. That's praise in itself."
